During 2009 I completed a series of 9 sculptures at the Thami Mnyele Artist-In-Residence Programme in Amsterdam.

This series is inspired by South African flowers. These include orchids and the Sandlily found in the Western Cape Provence of South Africa. The shapes of the sculptures emulate Russian church towers.

Some were exhibited at de Appel in Amsterdam at the ‘Genius without Talent’ group exhibition.
